Prelude Ensemble Performances
Small ensembles of Charlotte Symphony musicians visit schools for interactive 45–60 minute performances that can be tailored for students in grades K–12.
For younger students, these sessions serve as an introduction to the instruments of the orchestra. For middle and high school musicians, they offer a chance to engage directly with working professionals about music, craft, and career.
Programs are designed to align with the North Carolina Essential Standards for Music Education and can be customized to fit your curriculum and students' needs.
Costs may be covered through ASC funds for eligible member schools.
