One Musical Family

Every fifth grader in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has the opportunity to experience the Charlotte Symphony live at Belk Theater through One Musical Family — an annual concert designed specifically for them.

The program explores the full world of the orchestra: the musicians onstage, the professionals behind the scenes, and the composers, genres, and cultures that shape the music we perform.

In 2026, we hosted more than 12,000 students over 4 days!

Registration for Spring 2027 opens later this year.
