Adam Wurtzel went to the Belk Theater to meet the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra's new Music Director, and their President & CEO who has some exciting news.
It was a very musical morning for "Up 'n Adam" who first met Kwame Ryan, who will permanently take the spot as the 12th Symphony Music Director this Fall. Born in Canada and raised in Trinidad, Ryan has spent most of his career in Germany, and says he is thrilled to make the Queen City his new home.
Next, President & CEO David Fisk was on hand to tell us the exciting news, that the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra has raised an incredible $41,000,000 to help solidify its financial future.
