Christopher Warren-Green opens the season with Beethoven's revolutionary - and only - Violin Concerto. Violinist Pamela Frank performs this technically demanding stunner that demonstrates the power and potential of both the instrument and the performer. Composed to accompany Goethe's heroic play, Beethoven's Egmont Overture is one of the most instantly recognizable and recorded of all Beethoven's overtures.
