Christopher Warren-Green returns to the podium to conduct a program of vivid American music, featuring two Pulitzer Prize-winners: Barber's iconic Adagio for Strings and Copland's beloved Appalachian Spring. The Cherokee Chamber Singers join us for contemporary American composer, and North Carolina native, William Brittelle's poignant work Si Otsedoha (We're Still Here), which sprang from the minds and hearts of students of Cherokee youth, and portrays the past, present, and future of the Cherokee people.
