ABOUT THIS EVENT
Paganini, wizard of the violin, meets Rachmaninoff, wizard of the piano. The result? One of Rachmaninoff's most popular works, with a captivating melody featuring variations on Paganini's 24 Caprices for violin. Mussorgsky's visually evocative showpiece, Pictures at an Exhibition, inspired by his walk through an art exhibition, carries listeners through a spectrum of emotions. A recently discovered Stravinsky work rounds out the program.

This weekend's concerts are made possible in part by a generous gift from Maria and John Huson.
