Observe NextGen conductor Joseph Young as he leads a dress rehearsal of a captivating program featuring a diverse cast of characters. Tchaikovsky at his best, Sleeping Beauty brings fairytale colors while Copland depicts a classic American scene. Michael Daugherty's poignant Native American journey spotlights principal flutist Victor Wang.
Please note that rehearsals can run up to 2.5 hours. There is a 15 minute break half-way through (approximately 11:15 a.m.). Groups who do not wish to remain for the full duration are welcome to exit at that time. This is recommended for groups with younger students or those with strict travel schedules. Please let us know in advance if you plan to leave at the break.
