Courtesy Policy 2013 regarding Seating Arrangements
We ask that you are considerate of others’ seating arrangements when visiting the park and selecting your spot to sit. Seating that is even or low to the ground, such as blankets or low lawn chairs (no higher than nine inches from the ground, example – beach chairs), is encouraged to maximize the view of the stage and enjoyment for all. We encourage those needing and bringing other types of chairs to select seating around the sides and top of the lawn. We may ask you to move your chair to this location if it is not placed around the sides and top of Symphony Park lawn.
We also ask that you are considerate of space on the lawn when selecting a spot to sit. For example, a 10x12’ tarp should comfortably fit 4 adults. Using a seating marker larger than necessary is strongly discouraged.
A designated accessible seating area is located at the top of the hill to accommodate audience members in wheelchairs or in need of accessible seating. If you have questions or concerns regarding this policy, please call 704.972.2000 to speak with a Symphony representative.
