Pre-COncert Activities
Musically Speaking
Come early and get the inside scoop! Prior to each Classics concert, the Charlotte Symphony presents "Musically Speaking," informative and engaging pre-concert talks. Expert presenters, including guest artists, Symphony musicians, local professors, and CSO Music Director Christopher Warren-Green, will provide provocative and amusing insights about the evening’s program through interviews, performances, and lecture/demonstrations.
"Musically Speaking" begins at 7 p.m. and is free to all Classics ticket holders. Stay tuned for the 2010-2011 schedule!
Lollipops Pre-Concert Festivals
The Lollipops Pre-Concert Festivals put the musical experience right in kids' hands, through activities coordinated by the CSO Education Department. Kids meet the instruments of the orchestra at The Musical Petting Zoo, participate in educational musical activities, and have fun making musical arts and crafts. Each Lollipops Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
