Annual Giving: The Symphony Fund

Donations to the Symphony Fund from individual supporters like you have an immediate impact on our organization, and are vital to the sustainability and growth of our annual programs and initiatives. Your gift enables us to fulfill our mission of serving our whole community through music that educates, entertains and enriches the human spirit.

Your annual support will help us achieve our vision of being recognized as a “best in class” orchestra, reflecting and leading a dynamic and growing region.


Ways to Give

Please consider a gift to the Annual Fund Campaign this year. There are many ways to give:

  • Donate Online

  • Call 704-714-5107 or 5108 to make a credit card donation over the phone

  • Mail with your check to:

  • We also accept gifts of securities. Please notify our Development Office at 704-714- 5107 prior to making your transfer.

  • You may be able to double or triple your gift to the Symphony if you work for a company that has a matching gift program.

Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law

Please note that the CSO fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30.


2011-2012 Member Benefits

Contributing Member level ($250+): 

  • Become a member of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra Inc. including voting privileges and an invitation to the Annual Membership Meeting

Plus at the Sustaining Member level ($500+):

  • Acknowledgement of your gift in selected Symphony concert program books throughout the 2011-2012 season

Plus at the Affiliate Member level ($750+)

  • Two tickets to a Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert

Plus at the Patron level ($1,250+):

  • Invitation for two to the Annual Summer Pops Picnic at Symphony Park

  • Two passes to all remaining 2011-2012 Friday morning Open Rehearsals

Plus at the League Benefactor level ($2,000+):

  • Complimentary intermission refreshments in the McColl Room at Classics and Pops concerts performed at the Belk Theater

Plus at the Founder level ($3,500+):

  • Invitation to a meet-and-greet backstage with musicians and guest artists

Plus at the Conductor Circle level ($6,000+):

  • A subscription for two to our Summer Pops concerts at Symphony Park in SouthPark

Plus at the Gold Baton level ($12,000+):

  • Invitation for two to a luncheon with Music Director Christopher Warren-Green, Conductor Albert-George Schram, Assistant Conductor Jacomo Rafael Bairos, or musicians

Plus at the Platinum Podium level ($25,000+):

  • Invitation for two to a dinner hosted by Music Director Christopher Warren-Green, Conductor Albert-George Schram, Board Chairperson Governor James G. Martin or President & Executive Director Jonathan Martin

Plus at the Music Director level ($50,000+):

  • A private ensemble performance at your home
